Azta Urban Salon x New hair

I had the craziest urge to get china doll bangs recently. Ever since I turned 25, I told myself that I will be braver. So, I let go of my play-safe hair style and chopped my hair.

Azta Salon (1)

We were already in SM Jazz Mall when the decision was finalized. I was already thinking about it for days. I saw that there was a salon, Azta Urban Salon to be precise, so I took it as a sign.

I told my mom that I was getting china doll bangs, and since this was my hair back when I was kid, she naturally loved the idea. Gulp!
Azta Salon (2) We’re lucky that there were only a few people when we went in. I immediately approached the counter before I could even change my mind. The haircut that I got was priced at Php 250. And for future reference, just having the bangs fixed costs Php 100.

Azta Urban Salon Jazz (7)First, shampoo:

Azta Salon (2)What’s different about Azta Urban Salon is that they apply shampoo while you are on your seat. Of course, they would rinse you in a different area, but doing something differently caught my attention.

They also give an awesome scalp massage while they shampoo you, and a great shoulder massage right before they start cutting your hair. It was so good, I felt bad when it stopped. Maybe it’s a sign for me to get a massage too? Haha.

I told them what I wanted. I even showed them dear Zooey Deschanel’s photos (which I’ve been staring at for days). I frankly told my stylist, Sir Johan, that I was scared but also I wanted it. He was very nice to me and he even gave his own opinion when I asked him. Most salons that I’ve been to would just follow what I want. I don’t like that. I need check-and-balance in my life! Haha.

And so it begins:

Azta Salon (3)Is it too late now to say sorry? Haha!

Azta Salon (4)And here it is!

Azta Salon (5)Thank you Sir Johan for making me look a few years younger!

Azta Salon (6)

I had a great experience at Azta Urban Salon that I’d definitely go back for more hair adventures. Maybe I’d try to have my hair dyed next time? Hmm..

Do you like my new look? Let me know in the comments! 😉

You look good with or without the bangs. But with the bangs you looked wayyyy younger. I also wanted to have a full bangs but my husband dislikes the idea. But I will one of these days haha

You can always grow it if it doesn’t turn out well 😉 My husband prefers no bangs / sideways so I’m growing mine now 🙂

I also recently got my side bangs because I got bored with my hair. Haha! The only difference is… I did it all by myself. I only referred to youtube tutorials. Super nakakatakot na moment talaga. Hahaha! Buti na lang it turned out… Well.. Just ok. Haha! Anyway, I always see Azta Urban Salon having vouchers in Metrodeal. I always want to have my hair rebonded by Azta before. Pero di ko lang nabibigyan ng time magpurchase ng voucher sa metrodeal kaya di natutuloy. Next time pag ayoko na ng frizzy hair i’ll push through with having my hair treatment with them. Thanks for sharing your experience with Azta! 🙂

Buti nalang okay! Di ko kaya mag experiment. Nadala nako. Haha!

My experience with them was really great. I’m not sure how they are with treatments, but I heard they do best in coloring 🙂

You do look like a china doll. 😉

You look young and fresh on the latter, although you also rocked your sexy waves in the former. 🙂

I love bangs. Coz it hides my large “four-head” but husband doesnt like me having that kind of full bangs so I always made it sideways instead because I couldnt resist it. Lol. You look cute in your new hair do ?

Thank you! My husband prefers sideways too. I’m growing this now so I can do that 🙂

Awww.. I wanted bangs too.. But because of my crazy hair.. Having it might not be a good idea. You look great.?

Thanks! You can ask your stylist for opinions. I had a different hairstyle in mind, but my hair is thick so my stylist told me to do something different. He was very helpful 🙂

Nice bangs. I am also a fan of bangs as I believe they make me look a little younger. And you look younger than your age even without the bangs.

Aww, thank you! I always get teased that I have old vibes since I’m always serious. Getting my bangs was…a quarter life crisis decision. I’m happy it turned out well though 🙂
