at
free-diy-business-card

I am attending a blogging event in a few days, and because of that, I needed a business card. I didn’t have time to have someone layout it out for me, so I looked for other options. Good thing, I discovered Canva!

Canva is a free online tool which lets you design anything from graphics to posters. It’s very easy to navigate and there are a lot of options to choose form. Are you ready to be a designer?

Sign-up for an account

First thing that you have to do is to sign-up. Don’t worry, it’s FREE. There are advance features that you can pay for, but the free ones are also great.

The beauty of the sign-up is that it saves all of your projects. These are mine:

As for my business card, here’s what I came up with:

I wanted it to be a very simple with a touch of femininity. What do you think?

I had mine printed out in a local store near our place. I’ll pick it up tonight and I’ll update you once I have it.

I’m so happy that I got to find an online tool where I can create a free business card. And not only that, I can also do other graphics!

As a new user, I didn’t struggle in creating my own design. Everything is intuitive. I didn’t encounter other challenges so far, so it is such a great discovery!

What do you think of Canva? Let me know in the comments. 😉

Enjoy life. Cheers!

    Hi Nina,

I am using Photoshop but for friends who do not want to invest on this program, I always recommend Canva. Great post and DIY!

Your business card looks so chic! I do mine manually, as in design from scratch. Haha But this looks so convenient and easy to do. ☺

I love Canva so much! Most of my graphics are made from MS Publisher hehe. So I jump from the Internet (for the photos) to Publisher always. With the help of Canva, everything is there already and their are so many templates to choose from! Hindi na kailangan mag isip ng sobra sa magiging layout hehehe.

Good thing I have a graphic designer husband. He made my business card for blogging and for the business. back-to-back. But since he’s often busy with his day job too, I will keep canva in my favorites for diy moments. 🙂

I’m very familiar with Canva as it’s one of my most used tools at work. I usually just create posters and social media campaign stuff with it. I haven’t tried creating call cards yet, I make my husband do it for me on photoshop, haha.
