Choosing a Family Car?

at

*This is a sponsored post. All opinions are mine.*

Hello everyone! How are your New Year’s Resolution coming along? For me, I’ve never thought that I would say this, but January has past and I’m still on track! That’s a milestone for me, okay? As someone who is used to getting distracted in the middle of January, I’m really proud of myself.

To share, one of my goals for this year is to spend more time with my family. We do bond, every now and then, but we can’t really travel that much because we can’t fit in our current car. Makes me wonder – is it time to get a new family car? I’ve been looking at some options online and I can’t help but be overwhelmed by the available choices. *gulp*

So, let’s be objective, shall we? I thought of listing down some considerations that I should think of. If I still get confused – I’m pretty sure I’ll make a scorecard. But for now, here’s what I am thinking:

Size

This is probably my number 1 consideration. We need one that would fit my mom, siblings, newphew, niece, and son. Okay, maybe throw in one or two more friends?

Safety

So, I didn’t know that they actually had car safety ratings until I did a search. I only know about the airbags. Anything else I should consider here?

Budget

Of course, you can’t buy one if it isn’t within your range.

Aesthetics

Okay, this is probably a big thing for me *hides in shame*. To stop myself from hoarding a lot of things, one thing I recently learned is to only buy things that gives you joy. If it feels like “meh” and you don’t really need it, don’t buy it! So, yes – I’m putting it here.

Technology

Some things that are good to have! We used to have a car with a tv – it got sold a couple of years ago, but as kids, it was a way to keep us quiet. Not a bad thing since we’re travelling with kids!

Other specifics

I don’t know a lot about this, but my friends talked about engine power, gas consumption, and some other features. I only know about gas VS diesel when I overheard my parents before when they decided to get a car.

Anything else I am missing here? I am probably a months (or years) away from getting this, but I’d like to check on my options starting now.

If you’re getting yours now, check out this cars.com! Their site is pretty intuitive. Plus you can use their Price Comparison Tool – which is super cool!

Once you’ve visited, let me know what your top picks are!

New Look for 2018?

at

*This is a sponsored post. All opinions are mine.*

Happy 2018 everyone! I know, I am a month delayed in greeting, but I’ve been busy recently with some exciting life experiences – details I will be sharing soon. Anyway, I know we are still enjoying the cold February, but days and weeks seem to pass so fast that I can’t help to fast forward to the summer! And we all know what summer looks like here in the Philippines – beach, fun, and music festivals here and there!

One thing I really like about events is that I get to dress up. Ever since I was a kid, I enjoyed events in our school because I can wear costumes. I think it was by the influence of my mom, which has been very support (should I say pushy at that time?) to dress us up in the best of her abilities.

Anyway, back to music festivals! *Confession time* I’ve never attended one even though I used to live near an events place where this is usually held. And my aim for this year – to actually attend one! As an added motivator, I’m already thinking of my outfit *attempts not to squeal*.

Google has some really cool ideas (when did it not have?). But is it really a requirement to have long, pretty hair? I…have commitment issues when it comes to styling my hair so I usually wear it at medium-length. But hairstyles could make or break an outfit, right? Good thing, I discovered Divatress!

Divatress is a leading online site that sells wigs and hair care products. One look at the site, I can’t help but admire their wig collections – plus think of all the outfits that go with them!

Here are some of my favorites for their Milky Way Hair:

Milk Way Hair 1

Milk Way Hair 2

Milk Way Hair 3

Not only do they look pretty, but some of them are pretty affordable too! Dreams do come true!

I know it’s still a few months away, but I really can’t wait for my first music festival. I’m sure I’ll rock my outfit, from head to toe. And if ever I won’t be able to grow my hair until then, good thing I found Divatress!

What do you think about Divatress? Have you found your favorite styles? Share them in the comments! 😊

When one mentions consumer products, the immediate company that comes to mind is Colgate-Palmolive. Who can blame me? Since I was a kid, it has dominated most of the products that we use at home. From personal care to home care, it was evident that my mom really trusted the company. I wouldn’t blame her as it’s one of the established names in the industry, and we have tried and tested the quality of its products.

Fun fact: did you know that Colgate-Palmolive is now celebrating their 90 years of operations in the Philippines? Yes! For the past nine decades, it has provided Filipinos with quality brands for oral care, personal care and home care. Want to learn more? Check out 9 trivia bits below about Colgate-Palmolive:
